Smoth is correct. It's a flying droid so it doesn't have feet, just uses repulsorlifts to remain in the air.

Forums are working for me?

Currently intake for the Beta is closed. I've just finished my semester though, so once I recover from the hangover that will be inflicted tonight, the ball will start rolling again and you can expect the beta to open up again soon.

I can view the Forums atm. Couldn't for awhile, so perhaps this problem's been resolved?

Thanks argh.

We've been having some trouble with our host, so it could be related to that, but it's very odd that I haven't had any trouble viewing the forums...

After a ridiculous amount of time spent on the texture, here's the Imperial Advanced Airlab

This facility is where the Imperials access all of their advanced air units, giving them a range of very powerful air units which will be required to match the powerful rebel airforce. When scripted, the factory receives delivery of it's fighter craft from the orbiting fleet, performs final assembly and modifications for the planet - then the factory opens up and a raised platform lifts the completed aircraft in preparation for take-off.

From the advanced airlab, you can access:
- TIE Phantom (experimental cloaking fighter)
- TIE Defender (Advanced Fighter)
- Scimitar Bomber (Heavy Bomber)
- Assault Gunboat (Heavy Gunship)

texture is appearing a little incorrectly at the moment as normals are broken, but it's mostly right

A Life day gift from the IW team!

Presenting the Rebel Heavy Tracker.

This unit is accessed via the Rebel Heavy Weapons Lab, and is one of the Alliance's most powerful ground forces. Originally serving as a mining vehicle on a number of worlds, this unit was adopted by various criminal organisations and the Rebel Alliance for it's sturdy build, but more importantly, for the large rock-boring laser that it is built around.

This powerful laser, which takes a while to charge up to fire, fires in a constant beam, and can slice through even the toughest armour very quickly. The laser is also equipped with excellent range, allowing it to assault defensive positions from a distance. However, it is not a machine that was originally built for war, and so can be quite difficult to use at times. It's handling is quite sluggish, and can easily be overwhelmed by quicker units if not supported. Also, while it's range is significant, it fires along a direct path, unlike longer ranged artillery vehicles, and so can have difficulty hitting it's targets in some terrain.

A Rebel player will need to be very careful about how they put this to use; used well it can overcome the Imperials' heavy late-game forces with ease, but used poorly it can be easily overcome.
