Help playing S44

I need help with Spring 1944, its been a while playing it. I like to play on FolsomDamnV4 and the AI now doesnt cap any of the points or attack. I've tried to play it on earlier version and on earlier engines and it just crashes. Could someone help me?

FolsomDamDeluxeV4?

edit: A glance at #s44 suggests yes. Any errors in the infolog or just nothing happening? Have you tried cheating yourself onto the AI team / spectating to make sure it really isn't doing anything?

Chances are it is broken and someone needs to figure out why and fix it. Again.

edit2: btw with regards your F1 shader issues, https://github.com/SpringMCLegacy/Sprin ... s/lups.cfg but that isn't your problem at all afaics.

I have tried specing two craig bots together on that map. Setting the speed to 3.0. They will just build stuff. Also, how do I cheat myself onto the enemy team

As for the F1 shader issue I compared the two into notepad ++ the only difference was my lupscfg was set to 3 on quality while the one you linked me to had 4. I fixed it and changed it to 4 on my side.

WEll, that's actually good news as it means it isn't totally broken, just partially :lol:
/cheat /team 0
etc


Did changing it fix your issue? Afaics the error message you reported has nothing to do with LUPS.

Yay doublepost.

CRAIG works fine for me on 1944 Moro River, with latest git version (same as latest rapid) and Spring 103.0.

Which nations were you trying?


edit: Confirmed no action on Folsom though.

[f=-000001] C.R.A.I.G.: No waypoint profile found. Will not use waypoints on this map.
So looks like only maps with profiles are working... I thought someone already pointed you in that direction though?


edit2: They pointed you to the wrong profiles (flag profiles)

Triple post, fixed.

At some point someone cleverer than myself changed how orders sent with 'shift' to factorys work. As in, they don't seem to work at all.

7 chars were the root of all your problems, sorry. :| Kinda feel like I'm undoing one of my previous fixes, mind, so it may be related to fixing an engine bug.

Yes should be working with latest rapid on any (sane) map. game:s44:test in the SpringLobby download archive tool, iirc.

Im not familiar with all these terms. Does rapid mean version?¿. And how do I get the lastest version of rapid. Is it the same as typing Game:S44-2.0

Sorry, rapid is part of the Spring ecosystem for downloading games ( https://springrts.com/wiki/Rapid ), it is what you are using when you use the SpringLobby 'Download Archive' tool (use game:s44:test, will not be the same as game:s44-2.0) or when downloading by joining a battleroom.
