What CPU is ideal for BA
Hi I am upgrading thinking about getting an i5 I think I have a Phenom 2 right now what would be recommended as mid level price? Thanks.

You're looking for single-thread performance - so go for i7.

He is asking for midrange level.... So no i7
looks like a 6500 it fitting here, but if you are willing to put extra effort and money into it you could get a 6600K (and overclock it a little).
Mind that a (overclockable) 6600K need a more expensive mother board + reasonable cooler too that be additional cost on top of the higher price of the 6600K so it might not be that worth in the end
