Good thing to decrease eco spam, hopefully, that decrease goes progressively from 0 at Econverted to what you say (16%) at around 3k E conversion otherwise that will just promote AFUS spam even more...

Indeed, Low eco should still get some reward to convert metal, especially because T1 eco suck so much vs T2, otherwise the tune you just made encourage poeple to jump T2 eco even faster...

This is like take from one side to take the other. Nerfing the only way to kill early way to kill AFUS (t1 bomber)

Noone care about T2 bomber as they ve been nerfed so much than arm nuker bomber would still be more appropriate to do any job (yes you can remove t2 arm bomber that is a noob trap)
Floris wrote:T1 artillery now cost 10% less metal
Looks like a DSD oriented tweak, I find artillery quite good already with better AoE efficiency compare to some years ago.

Once again, the problem with T1 artilley is not that it does not worth its money, it is that the time to the front and kill T1 defence, the enemy has T2 unit and you dead.

The problem of can/zeus/piro/zipper is that they cannot be countered with T1 eco as they used to because janus and riot dont stun them anymore. As long as that will be the case, there is not reason to try to win the game T1

Here is an idea in case you dont know what to do: revert the riot dps to what it used to be and increase janus dps so that it can be done. If you are afraid they will be op vs t1 (the previous ba dev nerf riot cause he did not like to play t1), just give unit T1 more hp like you just did....

Of course if your aim is to make the game more spammy and more big-eco-oriented, discard what I said.

Thanks for the feedback. I am trying to make a small steps. I cant just redesign the whole balance.

I hope that lower income from teching will give some time for front players (even playing with arty)

Good job, thx.

About DSD related remarks: you can't fix too many players (16 while designed for 8 ) by making balance changes without (risking) making BA unsuited for all normal play.

You are obviously joking, I like your humor.

For people to understand the joke, I need to quote you from here: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=33562
Made big team games last longer with more varied ways of ending, primarily by removing the "quick wins" that were once achieved by OP T2 air and lolcannons.
More recently, you nerf riot to accentuate that...

Thank you for sarcastic acknowledging.

Again, no. In case of leveller/janus, you are wrong above about the timings, partly wrong about the what commits were, partly wrong about who authored them, and completely wrong about their intentions.

I don't particularly care to help you re-discover the missing pieces from your reality, just to point out that attempts to speak your own opinions under my name are rubbish.

Also, if you want to link to an individual post, you can do so using the link obtained by clicking on the title of that post.

I am pointing facts. Claiming right or wrong never proved anything

While ago, some of the reasons were identified why the game mechanics changed and made the game more oriented toward eco:

viewtopic.php?f=44&t=30710

While you seems to have yourself acknowledge the problem ( the vast majority of people actually did in that thread, I let poeple judge...), you made it worse doing this:
Reduced Leveller damage per shot
viewtopic.php?f=44&t=31913
And more generally you acknowledge this:
Made big team games last longer with more varied ways of ending, primarily by removing the "quick wins" that were once achieved by OP T2 air and lolcannons.

I let the readers make their own conclusions regarding what your intention were. Maybe there were unfortunate, but it happens while you were the maintainer so that is difficult to believe otherwise... Now, it is obviously not possible to argue about what you like or not but people who like to live don't suicide.

Thanks.

As new player I had difficulties to deal with this new behaviour : it conflitct with the "unload" hotkey.

Hardcoding random keyboard shortcuts is rather problematic since you might produce conflicts with players' custom keyboard bindings. In this case it is even more unfortunate since 'U' is the standard key for unload.

EDIT:
What otyugh said...
