I was wondering what widgets other people use, apart from standard BA widgets.
I currently use the following widgets:
-Obdient Constructors v4:
If cons get a order after guard, the guard is cancelled.
-Protective Guard:
Makes units that guard another unit stand in front and (if enough guards) around the unit thats being guarded.
-Set Target Default:
Name says it all.
-Spy Emp and Decloak Range v2:
Shows those ranges for the spy, similar to the comblast widget. Really useful if u use spys alot for emp.
Useful key commands:
ALT: Insert unit at front of factory build queue
Space - inserts command at front of command chain - good for having ur cons build a few LLT without canceling build queue
Ctrl-move: units move at speed of slowest unit in the group
Also, does anyone know a widget that will auto-add new units to a group?
i.e. I'm building Rockos (group 1), Peewees (group 2), Fleas (group 1) and Rezbots (group 3).
Ideally a widget would auto-add new flea/rocko to group1, peewee to group2, etc.
Best BA widgets / Most useful key commands.

Go to http://widgets.springrts.de/ and look for "Auto Group" : assigns by ALT+num unit-types to groups. Very usefulZonk wrote:Also, does anyone know a widget that will auto-add new units to a group?

That site is not really up to date anymore. I think best place to get widgets is the appropriate part of the forum or springfiles.
Re: Best BA widgets / Most useful key commands.
Now that you mention it....
Pretty sure this widget is by now part of BA.

This is actually pretty handy as a list of possible widgets/ideas for the future. Thanks all :)

Re: Best BA widgets / Most useful key commands.
All that I use besides the default widgets are cmd_fac_holdposition and cmd_state_remover.
Re: Best BA widgets / Most useful key commands.
I just use a widget that displays the real world clock, sometimes the ecostats widget, and a widget that disables the nag text when you press escape (I use it for unselecting units and cancelling commands).
