turn the emp spider into an aa spider after you replace the turret. no one uses it anyway...

concept is not bad, execution is. could be interesting unit (also dont forget about core)

wrecks look good for me.

EDIT
Atm looks too much like a player with black team color.
actually, it might look odd to see these along with normal buildings which belong to player with dark teamcolor. these black after-explosion-something helps tho.

Units with black teamcolor can still be very obviously differentiated from these wrecks (which can be considered placeholders at the moment). You are free to destroy and mangle any of the units to make wrecks, just check out the source from http://code.google.com/p/baremake/source/checkout and send me a gmail address so I can add anyone to the list of committers.

Also, there will be no AA spider.

Behe did bob do the tanks or hovers yet? I a really looking forward to them but have only seen a preliminary pic earlier in the thread.

I recall bob said hes done with the tanks, but I dont know if they are textured yet because I havent seen them released yet.

But the screenshots of the tanks were awesome!

Almost ready for a fairly massive update. I'll be gone on a work related trip for a couple of days on Monday, but when I get back, I'll finish up the update and release a whole bunch of screenies. I've also been playing around with some arm units early on just to make sure the texture that pyra has already made for arm will fit. Its all looking good. I think you will all be happy with the new arm style.

SHOW US SOON they look so cool

i have this one idea for BA modles tho 8)

Secondary team colours so a person can have one dominant colour i.e orange on his units.

furthermore a very small tiny hint of his secondary chosen colour on his units i.e red just to give a bit of variation ya know :-)

kind of like the colour customization of spartans on halo :D

but ofcorse the main colour shows up on the mini map

i would be very thankful if you experimented with this idea :-)

Secondary colors for me is a bad idea: it's useless and confusing.

About crazy idea's:
would be nice to put the clan's flags on buildings or on krogs / banthas! (it would be long time to implement) This thing needs an online interface to manage a database where are recorded clans and flags (and possibly some other things like player's profile, statistics ecc.). I know, it's crazy.. but it would be a possibility that would open up many other possibilities and would enhance the gameplay! :)
