BA 7.03: Panthers are too agressive

Panthers think they are artillery unit and intend to attack far away targets going to hard deffence line of enemy and killing theyselfs.

or fix the weapons so they don't chase units in range of their AA missile launcher, which makes alot more sense

We havent fixed this in CA (only a problem on the arm scout boat now) and thats with all the new target categories etc. So if anyone knows how, that'd be useful info.

nochasecategory WHAT? You want it to chase land units within its land weapon range, and air units within its air weapon range.

You can just put it on hold ground or make it chase only one or the other, but if you let it chase both, it will always use the longer ranged weapons range to determine when it should chase or not(regardless of whether it is weapon 1 or 2).

CA scout boats are just on hold position ATM.

you dont want it chasing air units, air units are too fast to be worth pursuing.
