And I haz qq. Looks like the finder thing is crapping out. Harbinger uses dynamic metal spots (which is extremely nice... and I dare say, possibly more useful than google_frog's implementation).

Oh, that's not what I was trying to imply. I posted here thinking that since dynamic metal is so simplistic and it's function so straightforward, it makes sense to me that the zk method could be updated or vice versa to make them play nice with one another.

zk takes the metalmap and turns it into a table.
such table can also be read from configs. (which zk already does to change some "bad" metal layouts)
The configs of zK/cheesecans map are almost same style.
So it is just a matter of agreeing on some standard for filename, variables etc.
