Zero-k Installer problems (Solved)

Hi
I am having trouble installing this game. I have the client, but whenever I try to download the installer, it will run until the "verifying application requirements" window pops up, then the window will just disappear, and the installation process just ends. I have the .net framework. Has anyone else encountered/dealt with this problem before?

EDIT: I just joined a multiplayer game and it auto-downloaded
