The latest updates (1.420 and 1.424) for The Cursed are here and contain a good load of polishing and improvements. Normal maps are included now for all big units - even though not extremely visible in game, they kept me busy for a long time. Support for lua metal maps was included with the first update. Then all related game functions were fixed with the following updates. The balance was further improved. AI functionalities (esp. support of jumping) were improved. And much more!

Have a look – there are free cookies and beer!

Why is the screenshot not showing up on the frontpage?

Perhaps its because you're trying to display an image from outside of springrts.com

Add your image to the post as an attachment. Once its added, you can right click to get the url for the image, and then include that as e.g.

Code: Select all

(that example is from viewtopic.php?f=38&t=35923)

In general, its better to make your images attachments - often after months/years external images are no longer there, or their host site has moved url, etc, but posts (and their attachments) remain here. It's more important for tutorials/content posts, but imo worth doing for the blog too.

It's because the source isn't secure. Use an https source. Imgur can use https, just take the link and add an s.
