Or do a batch convert in PS. Wait, aren't all of them in dds format? Happy converting... at least I had some troubles with batch converting DDS' :P

Well I think DDS requires a certain multiple on its x and y values right? I hope there's a good 4:3 combination.

Noize do you mean to say that 4:3 is the new, final standard? It's not changing?

If I was to resize all my buildpics, would Spring recognize them if they weren't 96x96? What are the exact dimensions to use, does anyone know? 80x60 maybe? ...

Buildpic dimensions change depending on screen resolution... why is that? The GUI wackos who want everything minimalistic would probably love it if they could increase their resolution and have more playing space.

128x128 in 4:3 => 128x128/4*3 = 128*96. No idea if DDS has any restrictions.

Are the player name colors at the startup changed in any way?

Its hard to see difference between yellow and lime. here's example colors on the right side which could be better colors:

Anyone against it? We already changed the lobby battle/player state images because some of us couldnt see difference between yellow and lime that well.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Not sarcastically, I just happen to know someone who's colorblind and he can't tell green from yellow to save his life.

I have a red-green deficiency and I usually have to look twice at the player list because the green/yellow is a little too close in shade. I think it would be good practise to use colours that contrast more obviously so that those of us with colour problems (and that is a sizeable percentage) find it a little easier.

Actually im not colorblind, for me its called as "red-, green- chromopsia weakness". (tried to translate from finnish), or what Belmakor just said. I can see some colors better than normal people, and some colors i dont know what they are if i cant compare them to anything. I can see difference between yellow and lime, but it is sometimes slow when the background is textured.

Not even same color... much lighter.

And what if ground is yellow or lime? Then you cant see it either :P

It doesnt matter what the colors are, they just need to be seen easy to everyone, and if we want to prevent them to get mixed in the background colors, they should have borders.

Hmm, actually color differences. If some color have small change, you may not see it, but i can. I tested it once with people who see colors normally.

:shock:
*kinda offtopic*
