Request:ba/sa bladwing fix
Hi.
What is the problem?
The problem is that when the Bladewings are set to patrol and encounter targets they will start emping them,but,will not hover around in circles like the banshee,instead they will stop and when units are emped they will land.
What needs to happen:
They encounter targets on patrol,start flyign around like banshee emping them.
When a target is emped they will move to the next one and when all are emped they will distribute themsleves amongst the targets in a random fahsion(1 Bladewinge for each target),keeping them emped but the first prioriy must always be not emped units within the bladewings operation radius.
If there are enough bladewings to emp all targets and keep one bladewings on each the remaining Bladewings should keep patroling.
The Bladewing's behaviour is an anciant problem and would be nice to finally get rid of it.

I agree this is broken, but so far nobody was brave enough to try to understand the code responsible.

I think making them more automated would allow to actually use them more.
Since they only emp and not kill and mov eon they have an a bit more complicated role but it shouldnt be harder to perform tha nattacking targets with a banshee.

Its either fixing thisunit or removing it since it breaks core arm t1 air balance at its current state yet its a very cool unit that has many cool uses and has the potential to improve gameplay a good deal.

They work in CA, how was that done?

In ca they are just flying bombs.In SA/BA they are emp gunships.

Bladewing = ARM EMP drone in CA
your confusing it with blastwing
Blastwing = CORE Kamikaze drone..

Obviously the mistake was mine but thats not exactly ideal name giving.

CA has descriptions that actually give you an idea what the units does so names are less important. At least it doesn't have raiders that are actually unusable for raiding :p

Raiders have been prioritized? Prioritized for what? You're just confusing. I usually see gators and flash being the unit of choice for raiding anyway, and I doubt that's something that's changed in "all major ta mod".#1 your wrong since in all major ta mod raiders have been prioritized .
Which CA supposedly has fixed, besides if you don't like off topic conversation, don't start or continue it yourself.#2 this has got nothing to do with the topic.

He was all well and good for a fix for the bladewings until he heard CA had it.
