anything against removal of mmgr?

Post by abma » 07 Nov 2012, 02:18

i've tried to fix it, it seems to be horrible broken with current header files.

for example it doesn't compile when <string.h> is included after it.

as its broken for a quiet long time and nobody seems to try to fix it... anything against removal of mmgr.h / USE_MMGR?

see also http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=3316 maybe

also, there are already two nice alternatives which requires no code modification / compiler switches:

http://projects.gnome.org/memprof/ (didn't work for me, jk seems to often use it)
http://goog-perftools.sourceforge.net/d ... filer.html (did work fine for me)
