Waterline Adjustment and CanHover Bug

Hey, this would be a very, very useful and cool-looking thing to have for my mod and others: I'd like a smooth dropoff for things that have CanHover=1 and Waterline>0. Right now, they drop instantly during one frame, which is very jarring visually, and needless, but otherwise they work well. For amphibious tanks and other water/land vehicles, this would be a very beneficial change from a visual perspective.

Oh, and while I'm at it... I know it's been mentioned before, but CanHover=1 forces Upright to 1... could that please get dropped? It causes clipping into the map for hover vehicles :P

YES GET RID OF THE UPRIGHT CRAP WITH HOVER UNITS!!!!! I DEMAND IT..

Wait, since when does Spring read CanHover? It completely ignored that for me, only reacted to setting the movementclass name to TANKHOVER2.
