My brother has a problem with his framerate. He used to have decent framerate in older version. Sometimes it got this problem then it was ok with nothing else done. Now he keep to have a low framerate between 1 to 11. Often around 8. This is unplayable.
He has ubuntu 10.04 with a radeon HD2400 Pro.
Same thing happen with MT or ST. Same happen with all on low graphic.

Post a pastebin link to dmesg output. Check that CPU and graphics card are running at reference clock rates, if not set the correct cpu governor and disable gpu power saving.
