New version, 0.70b1
<back from testing>
I've only got one thing to say... which is that, despite the problems and teething troubles, I'm already in love with this version. Why? Because certain caps on certain FBI variables have been lifted, that's why. I shall save the "why am I excited about something this boring" for when NanoBlobs is released, otherwise it'll spoil the surprise

The current build of NanoBlobs functions 100%, with the exceptions of documented wishlist items. See 0.2 for an example of a very clean, basic mod tree.
Working backwards from XTA, I got rid of an enormous number of un-needed things. 0.3 will be a little cleaner- I've discovered that a few other things aren't necessary.
My guess is that the large TC mods are crashing because they're referring to things that aren't there anymore, or aren't calling dependencies correctly.

it's saved in the registerDas Bruce wrote:You know what I find creapy? I unistall spring and delete the directory entirely, then do a full reinstall and it still knows my user name and password...
owh and can we hav a lobby changelog.
The reason why some maps aren't working:
The lobby doesn't handel maps with spaces in it. Thus all maps without spaces work fine. Maps with spaces in it like "Comet Catcher Remake" only work via spring.exe and not via the Lobby.
eventually you released a new version w00t
the snag is it crashs for me
well i got a new fresh clean install (that is unistallation of the old version + registry cleaning) yet i have BSOD when i start a new online game (i've just tried with small divide).
So i think i'll wait for a new stable relase.

same problem here...colorblind wrote:Is it just me, or is the display frequency setting broken? Spring gives me a steady 60 Hz, regardless of the value I enter in settings.exe.
I checked the settings in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SJ\spring
DisplayFrequency = 85 ...seems to be correct
I have a GeForce 6800GT (Forceware 81.89)
any ideas?
