Posible pathing problem (Spring 94.01 + NOTA 1.71): two tank-units instead of going on the right place just making circles. No pathing showen in debug mode. Check example image.

BTW thers just small heat-mapping for those flash tanks.

Bug (Spring 94.01 + NOTA 1.71): bounce of corpses/wreckages of all kinds is huge. Plasma hit of thud weapon can move whole destroyed kbot lab. Bounce of dead mexes can be more then 150 elmos if hit by plasma.

I'm not up to date about building on linux but the guide here
http://springrts.com/wiki/Building_Spring_on_Linux
says the command should be "make spring".
If you think there is something wrong with MT, first try checkout 94.0 and build it. If you get the same error there, read the guide a couple of times.

The changelog doesn't say that UnitDamaged() also have change to the argument, but it indeed has changed!!

See here;
https://github.com/spring/spring/commit ... 8ca751f944

the title say: "add projectileID argument to UnitPreDamaged"

the code show:
"void CEngineOutHandler::UnitDamaged( const CUnit& damaged,
397  + const CUnit* attacker,
398  + float damage,
399  + int weaponDefID,
400  + int projectileID,
401  + bool paralyzer
402  +)

If you can't read C++ or interpret a diffset properly, please don't post and spread nonsense...

Fact: there is no change to the UnitDamaged callin visible to Lua.

on spring 93.1 i couldn't load units into ship transports.

it seems air transports and hover transports still work though.

saw it on several *A mods xta9726, ta:factions 0.51 and ba 7.50)

to test, start a game on the cold place, use cheat mode to spawn some stumpies near the shore, spawn a transport ship and try to grab them. The default cursor doesn't even automatically change to load, and if you force the load, nothing happens (doesn't seem like a script issue).

Has this been fixed?

EDIT : no it hasn't

Great release guys, I really like the new pathfinding system.

Could you please post here when the standard version on the lobby is 94.0. I need to update my autohost and possibly configure firewall.

Hope the new version will stand the test of time.

just with make you build all targets. And the git mt version dosn't even have a target named "spring".
I can build the 94.0 from git without problems.

Does the above path resemble anything that actually exists on your system? The make files for MT are virtually identical to those for 94.0, so I am suspecting cmake got confused by a path that contains spaces or similar.
Can you go to the directory where you successfully compiled 94.0 and do git checkout 67f92b36cf99c9374fb8f6a1b989bc86e7b50e74. Then try compile...

known issues:

it seems to desync because of path cache. to fix run

Code: Select all

rm -rf ~/.spring/cache/paths
on linux or delete cache/path in the writeable dir of spring. mostly My Documents/My Games/Spring/cache/path

Edit: no need to do that with 94.1!

PepeAmpere wrote:i have only one small experience with this, but not much relevant. My friends playing spring usually from office were unable to use 93.2 windows portable versions on their office machines (=> crash), but with 91.0 portable there was no problem. Only I know about their computers is there is WinXP, own GPU with last versions of drivers, 2-8 core intel processors. I dont know much, yes  .
So I traveled to my friends office computer and made some experiments (with spring 94.1) and here is logfile of that crash - http://nota.googlecode.com/files/infologOffice.txt (some MS Visual C++ runtime error table ocure when "Loading Square Textures")

looks like a gfx driver crash. --safemode should work for him, mostly lowering details/decals and disabling features should halb. also try to update gfx drivers.

Seems like a rare occurrence, if you have the demo it would help a lot.
