I, on the other hand, am getting about 20% of the FPS I got previously. Try to deal with it driver side when I'm done with work... though on a GTX 275 I shouldn't be on mid-low settings anyway.

This could be related to this bug that made it spam tons of empty packets. In MT Spring version the spam was so severe that the whole internet connection would die. Is fixed already, will be in next bump.

Did you notice the desync problems?

I have never had that mouse jumping before, and now it suddenly is there with the new version :P
Same for me, and it is only in windowed mode.

This can be temporarily fixed by setting Hardware Cursor on in your settings.

Empty packet != invalid header (empty packets are allowed, and infact necessary at times). This error message indicates (or should indicate) that the wannabe client has a different spring version than the server.

I imagine it's been mentioned elsewhere, but;

Getting consistent desyncs with maps which are taller than they are wide, though these desyncs don't actually appear to affect game outcomes.

Desyncs are TERRIBLE in this version. I'm seeing over 1 person desyncing per game. Just happened to me the first time. My internet connection was fine, no problems, just suddenly the game stopped taking orders and then quit.

Is this a MT version. If not when will it be releases?

The previous MT version made Spring run much better late in the games. Maybe it should become the main release since most people have 2 cores now?

And... another game, another desync. Not me this time.

Not, it is not. I didn't put anything up for download yet because I'm expecting a version bump really soon anyway. But you can try this one if you'd like: http://buildbot.eat-peet.net/spring/exe ... 7094db.zip

Code: Select all

bind Any+o singlestep
Many bind that already to something else. You see many warning spam due to this.

Some bugs:
Area reaclaim doesnt reclaim enemy DT even when its in LOS when giving the command.
Colors seem to be screwed up, meaning in an FFA, an enemies radar blips were of different color than his units.
Start points are placed on the map on game start. Like in FFA, specs see al placed start points, players only see their own.

i dont think spring makes a difference between friendly and enemy dt, as they are not units. i may be wrong however.
