New spring release: it a 0.80.5
Re: New spring release: it a 0.80.5
It used to make a difference. Previous version was bugged where it would reclaim even friendly dt, now it doesnt reclaim any dt.
Re: New spring release: it a 0.80.5
Features have a team and an allyteam just as units do.BaNa wrote:i dont think spring makes a difference between friendly and enemy dt, as they are not units. i may be wrong however.Beherith wrote:Some bugs:
Area reaclaim doesnt reclaim enemy DT even when its in LOS when giving the command.
Colors seem to be screwed up, meaning in an FFA, an enemies radar blips were of different color than his units.
Start points are placed on the map on game start. Like in FFA, specs see al placed start points, players only see their own.

Re: New spring release: it a 0.80.5
I tried to play my map BattleCity-v1 which I have created on Spring 0.79x.
See screenshots on Spring 0.79x:

It is terrible.

Re: New spring release: it a 0.80.5
I suppose what we are supposed to notice is the texture being shifted between 0.79x and 0.80x. If so, that is odd, because I still have pixel perfect matching of heightmap and texture map in my Data Cache L1 map.
Re: New spring release: it a 0.80.5
Mildarf, to me it looks like you have viewradius set to a lower value in new spring.
Re: New spring release: it a 0.80.5
Game crashes when playing two players vs computers in lan after some time.
Re: New spring release: it a 0.80.5
Anyone else noticing one heightmap pixel spikes ?

I think about creating v2 of my map, but I'm afraid of next maptexture position changing by Spring developers and doing empty work.
