Bugfix release, 0.77b3

After some people have stated that we should release more early and often,we give you 0.77b3 here. Its still not perfect, but the most serious bugs have been resolved.

You can find direct download links on the downloads page.

Changes:
  • fix transports not killing their transportees when they should
  • update installer shortcuts
  • when kicking a player, kick only the player and don't disconnect everyone
  • fix invalid command spam
  • fix some divisions through 0
  • fix crash for all players when someone gives away all his units
Thanks to everyone who helped fixing those bugs, especially kloot, imbaczek and det.

Note 1:
To make the update work properly, you need to quit all spring related applications before installing it, this includes springdownloader and the Lobby.

Note 2:
The settings where not imported right into 0.77b2. This have changed now, it will use your old settings again (and with each further update). So please excuse that you need to adjust your settings for 0.77b3 again.

The springdownloader should be autoclosed when you're downloaded the update.

pregame cannot find mod files...what does that mean?
There are mods in the mods folder, if you haven't guessed.

2 questions:

-did u changed the font with 0.77?
-why is b3 compared to b2 so slow? i got on the same map 70fps (at start) with 0.77b2 and 12 fps with 0.77b3

k,

it seems it is a lua-problem:
-disabled lua: 60fps
-enabled lua: 12fps (with all the same luas as in 0.76)
-enabled some luas (disabled some critical with high cpu-usage): 40fps

next problem (0.77b3+xta 9.5 on lava ground):

explosions wave arent at the correct position

edit:
-tab as overview wont work
-lights (e.g. of rockets) seems to flare (aka go off for a small time)
-sharpshooting units like aks (and other units like jethros) wont hit the units direct, they hit the ground infront of the units instead

concerning "Added option "AtiHacks" to settings" where/how exactly do we ati users enable this? im not seeing it in spring settings expert or basic mode, or any documentation on it


edit:
what page is it on in the spring settings.exe? because i dont have one...

If 0.77b3 runs slower for you then 0.77b2 then that is caused by 0.77b2 having used default settings, and 0.77b3 using the settings you've always used, e.g. for 0.76b1.

In other words, by changing settings to defaults you should get same performance in 0.77b3 and 0.77b2.

I sold my 2600Pro card. Now i play with integrated X300 card (xpress200), my graphic problems was no more present. (It's still true to 0.77b2+ versions)

I hope, i will get my new motherboard on this week (790GX based), so i will try out on other integrated graphic card.

Our xpress200 is not too powerfull but the game runs quite well, 20-35fps on 1024*768 in basic settings. - Nice work.


I just have one problem, Air combat test still crash like before.
