Different, yes. But *entirely* different? Definitely not. Same units, similar stats - just a handful of units have been pushed into slightly new roles, and *lots* of bugfixes.

It would be easier for Caydr to claim the bugfixes and then revert the gameplay changes then to try to replicate the bugfixes against aa.
I meant the gameplay, stats etc.

The unit stats are entirely different. The only thing that is really all that similar is that the same models textures and sounds are used, other than that, BA is very different.

That and the fact that AA was fun, whereas BA sucks.

lol total fact
the fact is u suck
u see what i did there

BA is very heavily based on AA, AA was fun because it was changed every week with crazy stuff and you had to find the new OP units but at the same time it was a fun, very playable mod. BA is just a refinement of the most recent versions of AA, saying they are totally different is BS, they are in fact very very similar in how they are played.

Silly floppeh :-)

Interestingly, this is an arena where I am uniquely qualified to disprove you :-)

WARC changed a lot of shit. Most of you guys forget that, for some strange reason.

Unfortunately I'm also not bothered enough to prove it. If caydr decides he cares he can take the time.

How come I never see you or dave in sc2 anymore? Oh and about neither of us becoming uber... Dave hit diamond and said fuckit and stopped laddering. I redid my quals for season 2 and lost both to masters players and ended up in gold, at which point I lolled at bnet fail and stopped laddering.

I still do a lot of custom games tho. Like OBS metalopolis 1v1, phantom mode and star battle :-)

If you want to compare BA to something like AA 1.46, then yes, they're very different games... but if you're talking about BA vs. AA 2.23, it's bugfixes and a handful of units being nerfed/buffed. The only really big *differences* and not just buffs/nerfs I can think of is the Croc/Panther L1-in-L2 refinement and the L1 rezbots. Everything else is more just minor refinements of AA 2.23 and a buttload of bugfixes.
