Yes, I have already a few improvements under development and many more ideas :)

I did not understand what exactly is meant by that.

Are referring to updating which "version" of the AAI submodule is used for building spring? I have to admit I am not a big expert on build systems and how everything works together...

yes, exactly. When https://github.com/spring/AAI is updated, the (atm not existing) submodule https://github.com/spring/spring/tree/d ... I/Skirmish isn't automaticly updated, that would require a change to, too: thats why it think, its useful when you commit directly to https://github.com/spring/AAI.

as you seems to plan more changes, i've gave you direct permissions, you should have received an invitation by github.

your recent pull request fixed most errors, but at least one is left https://github.com/spring/AAI/pull/2#is ... -720166502

Thanks, it worked :) Hopefully, the last compilation error - more recent versions of GCC seem to be much stricter than the older MinGW version I use...

Btw: Where can I find some more information about the buildsystem of spring? Where can I obtain logs etc. such that you dont have to send me logs in the future and save time for your work...

without a pull request to https://github.com/spring/spring nothing is automaticly compiled, with a pull request, travis-ci compiles spring + ai's.

when its merged "official" builds are made: https://buildbot.springrts.com/

Hi submarine, welcome back. I do remember AAI back from my early XTA games, great job back then and nice to have you back :)

Make sure to check out TA Prime, it's actively developed and we get weekly play sessions. In spite of a bunch of new features (unit abilities, tech tree, etc) It doesn't drift all that much from what you know from BA, so it might be a good port for AAI.

Everybody seems to sending invites to discord channels ;) I am not very familiar with discord... Is there a link where I can download the mod itself (no installer please, I do not want to touch my running spring + build environment)?

all games should be available via rapid... not sure what are the correct tags to download it.

i guess bar:test and xta:test should be correct.
