RAI causes crashes as of 88

Post by Bosque »

Tried using RAI recently in BA, which works fine last time I tried it (85 works perfectly). Now the game loads up, and crashes as soon as it is loading the AI.

Here's the infolog.txt:

Using game: Balanced Annihilation v7.68 - Pathing Fix
whats this pathign fix?
ain't this a version that was only required for spring 86.0 or something? please try normal BA.
[f=0000000] GL version: 2.1 APPLE-1.6.42
[f=0000000] GL vendor: Intel Inc.
[f=0000000] GL renderer: Intel HD Graphics 3000 OpenGL Engine
[f=0000000] GLSL version: 1.20
[f=0000000] GLEW version: 1.7.0
... i guess intel is not better on mac then on linux, so.. this is always suspicious.

does it happen wiht other AIs too? KAIK, E323AI, NullAI?

the infolog you posted whows a hang, not a crash, and the stack trace does not look AI related...
or maybe it is... but then it looks like a problem with loading the library... or osx is just so different that i have no idea what the stack trace is about.

No, it's a mutator that fixes acceleration and braking rates of BA units so that they don't path so badly. Has nothing to do with any old verison of spring.
