Interesting =], though I disagree that its unrelated, this is the AI forum, and that is an AI article! This forum isnt just a dumping ground for AI release threads!

He needs quite a few words to make an IMHO obvious (to anyone in academic AI) point though:
correctly evaluating a small handful of moves is far more important in human chess, and human decision-making in general, than the systematically deeper and deeper search for better movesÔÇöthe number of moves "seen ahead"ÔÇöthat computers rely on
