Looks good, but I'm not a fan of the writing. It looks very word-edited, not hand painted, and unusually large. IMO you want to avoid big individualistic things like that because it ruins the immersive nature of the game (ie: why would they have painted the same huge slogan on the side of every tank? etc).
And, I'm guessing I'd be better off not translating it ;P
Also, what is the strange brown thing capping off the top of the sdkfz250? That looks quite strange... Remember that most of the time the thing will be viewed from top-down, so it could end up looking pretty funky.

I've never seen such a slogan on a Soviet tank. This one reads "Kill all the nazis". They usually were more like "Death to all the fascists" because the word Nazi wasn't used much in USSR (it is the abbreviation of National-Socialist and Soviets didn't want to assotiate "socialist" with the bad guys).
Othere popular slogans were "For Motherland", "For Stalin", "Death to German invaders". Some tanks had names rather than slogans, like "The Sniper". This one has name "Leningradets" - the citizen of Leningrad:
It's probably possible to have a few different names show up on tanks by having several pieces with name drawn and then randomly showing 1 of them at unit creation.

Might be a much, but maybe have those faces placed under the name 'tankGraf' or something and have likethis:
for a little variation.
Code: Select all
Create()
{
tank_rand = rand(1,5);
if (tank_rand == 5)
{
show tankGraf_1;
}
else if (tank_rand == 4)
{
show tankGraf_2
}
etc etc.
}
