Do not end the game if player is alone (sandbox)

Most (all?) games end the match if the player is the only player alive.
This means if the player starts a game without opponents (other players or bots) the game ends right after it begun. Only one of spring's many noobtraps!

I think it would be more intuitive and useful if in such case the game never ends, allowing the player to play around like in a sandbox.
Easiest way is probally if whatever ends-the-game gadget disables itself if it detects that player is playing alone.

I like this idea (more for testing purposes), but I can see noobies maybe expecting an opponent and then getting confused by a lack thereof.

Then again that may be a lesser evil than auto-end.

Maybe ask the user:

"There is no enemy, do you want to play in sandbox mode?"

[YES] [NO] [I DON'T KNOW]

The last option brings up the question again in 1 minute

"Do you want to play with yourself?"

[YEAHHHHH] [HOW DISGUSTING, GOOD LORD, OF COURSE NOT] [SEARCH RANDOM PERSON, ALSO WILLING TO PLAY]

Crazy idea... mirror match... have an opponent spawned that mirrors your orders... due to terrain restrictions some of your actions won't be possible so the player has a nominal advantage over the mirror unless the map is perfectly symmetric.... if anyone complains about the "moronic" AI we all get to make fun of them.

the idea on the mirrormatch working out assumes that all battles would end dertiministic.. but they dont..some shots will miss, some tanks live longer- and suddenly the opponent doesent command as much units as you, but still keeps attackin..

Also he would always retreat even if at advantage..

Yes... the replays would be hilarious!
