Regarding Emmanuel actions on Operation Polaris forum: The #bored community glorifies itself into having out-trolled Emmanuel, unlike every other forum that merely banned him.

Regarding the inline image above, only a french would come up with such a design . Regarding his other art, yes, it looks pretty much like Lego on acid. But cute with those muppet show insects with back mounted guns!

for some lulz, i went through some of the old emmanuel threads. and when he wasnt ranting and raving like a kid with tourettes, his stuff is actually pretty good. and when he is able to articulate his ideas they aren't as bad as you'd think.

he's just nuts, even by the standards of this forum (which isnt exactly a haven for sane well-adjusted people) and his language is atrocious. (and i dont mean his spelling/grammar/syntax, although that is bad too...) For the record, I don't get offended by 'bad' language, I've worked with some pretty rough people, and as a consequence i tend to swear like a wounded pirate. but reading some of emmanuel's posts make me cringe, im not offended, reading them just makes me feel uncomfortable :/ at the same time, i don't think he is fully aware of his actions (or he is one hell of an actor)

so, moderators, its up to you.

I think it's bad to make jokes about handicapped people, so he should be banned.

I saw him spamming #main the other day ... i just don't get what makes people laugh about a retard version of Zero Wing ... waste of bandwidth.

i'm not going to vote because i've never encountered him...

but as many people complain of a dwindling spring community, i'd say it would be foolish to continue his ban, especially if he didn't retaliate for his punishment.

forum rule #1... dont feed the trolls! if you ignore them, they will either go away or come up with something good to contribute.

The problem is that he's not a troll - trolls are just joking. He's serious. He's incoherent and not terribly sane. And, more objectionably, he makes a mod that is entirely composed out of stolen work.

Still, I say give him a chance, and re-ban him if he blows it.

For all his insanity..., he knows how to make mods.

Which make him more skilled and than people like me, and many other players... :S

IIRC, They did that.

But it's not so much that he truly blew it as that he annoyed certain people. It's been a year, time for more emmanuel unless something changes in the next couple days.
