Talk to me when you have spent 3 years of your life on something. I have pit a lot of heart and soul sharing much of my work openly. I do not think I am asking too much.
It's not perversion of your work, more like free advertisement with lulz included. Some people might play it and notice that "wow those robots/mechs/whatever look pretty cool i wonder how the original mod/game is like blahblah"

They'd just be disappointed that the original mod is NOTHING like the faction plays in that showdown mod.

Besides, mashups are funny for about as long as it takes to look at a photoshopped screenshot, playing a whole game out stops being funny pretty damn soon.

Putting pictures of Cynthia, christina and sayla in swinsuits(no nina, she is a whore) on the moddb profile would generate interest because sex sells but it doesn't advertise properly. Also people would bitch about things like the lack of nukes in the gundam arsenal, the fact that they have no counters for nukes, the econ arguement, blah blah blah, all the units are alike.

Key to gundam's balance in emphasis on the weapons, firearcs, movements etc. To a BA player gundam is SPAMMY WITH NO DIFFERENCE IN THE UNITS because the units have a good subtle difference that was decided on to make it easier for new players when they decide on a grunt suit. Also the kampfers and doms would rape buildings... oh wait they won't because the armor classes/tags would conflict... oh so some of the balance would be DESTROYED RIGHT OUT. No it is not up for debate, you do not know much about gundam and likely you may have played 10-20 games of it. It is very different from BA and if it were put in a hodge-podge it would not work out.

and I said NO, which is the final word. It is only out of a kindness on my part that I even entertain the conversation. This community is by and large fond of stealing other's work in the theft of the TA content. My work is not up for grabs and I will use every channel within reason.

I do not mind the discussion but tread lightly. I have a master plan for how I want gundam's image presented, how I want to advertise and I am working on all of that. I do not want a false step to damage my years of effort and I do not feel it is fair to make demands of me.

well its no point to put in an unfinisched concept. Than all promotion aspects fall in part.

I have no idea what would happen if someone tried to use next version gundam with something else. The lua econ would do wierd shit to any of the other projects.

If you just throw in the units as they are in their respective mods balance will be completly screwed.
unless instead of saying "i will make a crossover mod with X mod, Y mod and Z mod" the mod developer says "I will try to find two mods that would become balanced if they were together" but this also would be very difficult too and would limit their choice.

Becaus you rip off stuff, but nobody will let you, becaus they all worked hard to make it, and you didn't, which is lame.

There are bots sometimes who post ads, when they are banned the posts are removed.
