that part should be fairly obvious and since you have given no other details I assume you have the whole model assigned to one material. If that is the case, then you need to go to the outliner and right click the texture that is applied to your current material. From there choose export and save the image.

that should cover it.

i just have half a cube with a hole in it, everything is cube1_auv exept the hole which is _hole_ :wink: and a gun, (but thats another obj)

ooh lol nvm i found it, just had to right click the auvBG in outliner :oops:

but you still helped me :-) was looking at export in the file menu and not in the outliner :shock: ty

Also, if you select object, and do file > export selected, it will create a tga for you.

It'll use what ever format is selected in the drop down menu in the save dialogue.

I'm not sure about that, I think it saved blah.png as blah.png.bmp before...

That happens if you move the selection off of "all formats" to another type of image.
