I took the standard geovent decal and made 3 more similar ones. Then I did the same for the lua-mex decal. (I don't know who to credit for the originals.)
Plus, a widget based on Cheesecan's mex decal placer, which places randomly chosen/rotated decals for all metal spots and geo spots. It requires the usual metal spot finder widget to be present, and assumes the map has no baked decals.

Re: 4 geovent decals, 4 mex decals
Good job! Hey Silentwings, do you know if there's a way to place a decal with normals?

I don't know, sorry. Maybe gajop would know, perhaps it could be done using "proper" ingame map editing tools (instead of the naive decal placing in my widget).
Re: 4 geovent decals, 4 mex decals
There's probably no easy way currently, but it is of course technically possible.
Things that'd make this happen are engine decals (decals gl4), embedding decals in map (map normals or dnts), or manually drawing it with a bit of effort
