http://springrts.com/wiki/Maps:SpringMapEdit
The homepage seems down and Frostregen seems inactive (last logged in almost year ago)
iirc homepage had some guides/tutorials that are not mirroed anywhere else. (move to spring wiki?)
The download and mercurial repository are hosted on Frostregen's private page as well (but still work), but there might be danger of losing those too?

Re: SpringMapEdit - homepage and svn
Hey guys,
I recently set up a new server, and did not convert my TRAC stuff. So the wiki/homepage of SME is currently down (but not lost!).
It is still on my TODO list to set it up again.
Actually the code repositories are hosted on 3 servers currently, so there is nothing to fear - they won't get lost.
(My PC, my home server, and my external server)
Thx for actually reminding me to set up TRAC again^^
Greetings,
Frostregen
PS: I actually check back on Spring about once a month, but I do not log in, or read the forums too much.
I am always reachable via email^^
PPS: SME was/is part of my coding portfolio, so I definitely will not let it get lost.

http://springfiles.com/spring/spring-maps/dust-bowl

Re: SpringMapEdit - homepage and svn
I still use SME quite a lot, it is extremely useful for a ton of things, especially with the fast save/load.
