16bit heightmaps

Is there any way to feed a 16 bit heightmaps to mothers, or even users mapconv?

Cause there are times when I dont want to use the low pass filter :)

Btw, Im thinking about about making a mappack of jupiters larger moons...

Yes you can use 16bit raw in mother's, I don't know about user's.

If anyone is still interested, the correct file type for mothers mapconv is:

16bit, 1 channel, intel byte order RAW file.

The results are well worth it and no more losing detail with -L filter
