Still accepting new developers?

Post by Dakara »

Hey spring devs :)

Are you guys still accepting new developers to help work on the engine? I've got plenty of C++ xp and it would be cool to work on a rts type game - there isn't enough around these days!!

I can easily provide more personal info. i.e. experience, but would prefer to do so via PM.

The gods of spring accept your virgin blood sacrifice!

Awesome to see more talent! Have you checked out the git repo? https://github.com/spring/spring

New contributors are always welcome.

You'll want to take a quick look at

https://springrts.com/wiki/Development:Getting_Started

A good way to get involved would be to find a bug, fix it and make a pull request on github;

There are no official applications to become a developer. You become one by working and contributing code. If you contribute enough, high quality code, you will eventually be given direct push rights and depending on your activity, you will be considered a core dev.

Ok cool, sounds good to me :). I've checked out the repository, and I'll take a look at those links.
