TA Spring Linux

Post by renrutal »

I posted this in the general forums, but it's more interesting to the devs:

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-410834.html

A working TASpring Client for Linux. Just thought you might want to know(since I haven't seen any threads about it).

Gonna try to compile it tonight.

Yeah we know, the windows developers are also reading the linux mailing list, and the plan is to start using the portable source (at berlios) very soon...
Did a merge of the windows changes today.... took me 3 hours or so. Ugh

Unlike what they say in that forum thread, JCAI should work. However you can't choose your AI right now, because those changes were not merged yet it seems.

I compiled it and got it to work no problems. ;)

I had some errors pop up when building Peewees though... :?

Now we just need to get it so that we can get windows and linux players together.

Ya, I saw that on the mailing list. ;)

It seems like it won't be a big deal to fix the latest version anyways.
