I was wondering if anyone tried to attempted to build spring using the llvm/clang compilers. (The one got from the svn system). If build successfully. Are there any improvements using clang over gcc/g++?
Why I ask this? Because some point in the future I might consider to replacing gcc with clang. Your thoughts?
Has anyone tried to build it with clang?

recipe for desync, it doesn't even sync between certain versions of gcc, let alone with a different compiler, if your goal is solo play, then it *might* work

It's more of a experiment really. The question is that will the spring engine will receive any improvements by using this compiler?

I guess the only way to find out is to try it. But I don't think it would make a big difference.
edit: I tried it once, but didn't come far as I couldn't figure out how to compile and link stuff with it.
