SpringLobby testing

Post by koshi »

We have some rather big (and potentially breaking) internal changes upcoming and I'd really like some of you testing those before I roll them out into mainline.

Anyone on windows who can spare a few minutes, please grab http://springlobby.info/temp/builds/kos ... otools.zip and see if everything still works as expected.
If that build crashes at any point, please see if you can repeat the crash with http://springlobby.info/temp/builds/kos ... _cmake.zip

Please also let it 'update' as a last test (which will actually revert it back to current release version).

If anything goes wrong with either build, please leave a post with your OS configuration (which windows, 32/64bit ), when it crashed (startup/file download, etc.) and if it's repeatable.

Thank you for your time.

Edit: for the linux people: you can clone my repo and build the rc1 branch, but linux is working alright already and there's nothing shiny new to see ;-)

Did anyone finally push the changes to make it unable to hang for 10 seconds per .torrent download?

I get a window saying "Important (Not Responding"

assuming something to do with unitsync and a large amount of maps, but I'd still call it a bug.

edit: err except launching a couple more times (once was as administrator) made it work
