August is a great time to shoot for. That lets us get a bugfix release out by September, and then that bugfix release is out in time to fit into the next Ubuntu release (which freezes in early October).

Not during the summer. And next year we won't be in the dorms, and our internet quality will be not as good (although not as bad as dialup).

Oh, and August 0.77 sounds really nice. Just in time for me to get back to a decent devving (and English-default) machine.

I'm sorry to say that, but because of some patches wich need to be commited there is no real reason for testing today.
But I will try to make a testing release in the beginning of the next week, so we can catch up for testing afterwards.

There is no 64bit unitsync.dll to be found anywhere.

I have a fulltime job, no understanding of the way buildbot and scons/cmake work, and a flotilla of projects to maintain. My time on these forums itself is strained and sparse as it is. If I had the means and resources to do so I would have submitted a patch long ago.

No offense but i think everyone gets fedup of that answer. Not that many people know how to do so you know.

No offense taken, you just didn't consider the facts.
AF obviously knows how to write a few lines of code
when he wants to, and has submitted patches in the past.

I obviously have copious amounts of free time, thank you for erroneously pointing that out in a condescending manner. Perhaps if you could help in a matter where I have made it clear my experience is somewhat nonexistant? Imbaczek appears to have made a quick look into this and come to the conclusion that it would be difficult, perhaps you could help him?

Oh i did, and oh look AF backed up my facts in saying he doesn't know how. I don't want to turn this into a pointless argument either sorry.

But i think it would be a good idea to get a 64bit version out, even if just for testing.

By 64bit version, I assume you mean windows? I'm sure that I have a 64bit Linux version as buildbot has not failed to compile.

Maybe some people get fed up with people demanding things of them.

Quote me or AF demanding anything, for one i haven't even asked for it i just think it would be usefull and AF has only asked. I have never seen anyone demand a thing.

Saying "submit a patch!!!xOMGZZ\Z" is just a pathetic reply.

"Make a patch" is pretty much the truth a lot of the time, though. This is a volunteer project--people do things because they feel like it. If you can convince someone to feel like implementing your request, good. If not, they have no obligation to do it. With the finite time of developers, often it is unlikely for them to implement a feature you would like unless you do the work for it--i.e., "make a patch".
