Trouble connecting as spectator

I find that when I am a spectator I get the "connecting 36..35.." thing with surprising frequency. It seems to happen more in games with a lot of players, but happens quite often.

Check if you have a firewall on and forward the necessary ports if you do. (or turn it off altogheter)

Now you mention it - I get this more often when spectating than when playing. Hmm...???

Edit: And no, it's not a firewall issue. I have a hardware firewall which is configured to allow the correct ports through so I know there is no problem there. This happened to me just last night. I couldn't connect to the server so we tried again immediately and it worked fine. We changed nothing between the two attempts.

exactly TechnoTone, it's because it happens more often when I spec that I think it's strange
