I'm not really tech-savvy and I apologize that all of you have to deal with my ignorance, but I would appreciate it if anyone could help me. Just installed Spring engine and Springlobby today because I wanted to play NOTA. I failed miserably. (OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit)
The game does start but it doesn't spawn any commanders or AI or anything other than the map for that matter. As for what I did, I took the nota 1.92.sdz file and put it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Spring\games and did the same to the .sd7 map files by putting them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Spring\maps. Decided to test the game on Spring, it didn't work.
Tried to start it on Springlobby, still got the same results. For the paths in the Springlobby preferences, it's set to:
Spring executable
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Spring\spring.exe
Unitsync library
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Spring\unitsync.dll

Hi, infolog would help but generally I suggest to play NOTA with dedicated client you can get on http://nota.machys.net/downloadsthetyrant67 wrote: ↑08 Aug 2018, 19:39 I'm not really tech-savvy and I apologize that all of you have to deal with my ignorance, but I would appreciate it if anyone could help me. This way you get the good e.g. GPU settings so some bad hardware/OS combos are not causing the crash.
