[solved in other way]ingame chat dont work

linux kubuntu 14.04
fresch install of springlobby compiled from git
and new download of portable

after struggling to overcome some bugs that prevented springlobby see 'engine' and 'libunitsybc.so' I was able to start an almost perfect game.

the only bug that I can not solve at the moment is this:
during the game all the keys work perfectly, so the keyboard is ok.

when I press 'enter' the field "Say:" appears to type in the chat:
but i can not type anything in the chat, the only button that works is again 'enter' with whom I can continue the game normally.

The previous installation of spring engine compiled from source working properly.

Maybe there's some incompatibility between the portable and your O.S.? I'm with Ubuntu 14.04 and chat works fine but my version was compiled from source.

Since you appear to know how to compile from source, can you try pulling from GIT the source code, update the GIT repository to version 100.0, and then compile/install from source?

If you still want to try and fix it, probably the next thing to do is check if you have a uikeys.txt in either/both of
