Spring won't start

When i try to start Spring, it immediately closes the program for some reason, and infolog is totally empty. The screen flashes quickly, and then exits.
Tried reinstalling Spring, didn't help.
Doesn't matter what route i use to start Spring, by lobby, or opening replay, or just using the executable. If I launch Spring directly, it doesn't give the usual menu either but quits before that comes up.
Using ubuntu 11.04.

Didn't have this problem ever before, it just appeared totally out of the blue, don't know what was changed so for it to come to this.

Any ideas to fix this?

try writing in a console

this produces springlog.txt in your home directory

Ok, did that - problem was with pulseaudio which is now fixed, thanks.
