water settings and stuff
after looking at your BA vid on you tube i noticed that the water ripples and waves looked very nice when the ships moved along, but when i turn up all the water setting to its highest the ripples and waves are of low quality and don't look 3d. Do i have to update spring? or change my water renderer?
Re: water settings and stuff
Try /water 4 ( you can change 4 types of water shader 1-4 )

Re: water settings and stuff
u mean the bump-mapped one that still dose not solve the water trail problem
Re: water settings and stuff
you want the one called "reflective/refractive"
i prefer bumpwater because it takes less CPU load

there is also "dynamic" water:
ships and projectiles creating 3d waves.
basically try everything from /water 0 to /water 4
your hardware might not support all water types if its too old.

Dynamic water is as close to real water as you're ever going to get on a computer and it will beat your GPU senseless with a massive dildo, so before using it, make sure that your hardware can support it.
