Spring client crashes when joining a game using 0.77b3

Post by Kixu »

I am using TASClient, when I open spring it comes up saying no maps are found (there are maps in the directory) and then I get an error "lobby\var\tips.txt not found." Once I get into spring, if I try and join a battle it crashes to desktop.

Tried a fresh install as first time I was installing over the 0.77b2 directory and still no luck. Then I read of a similar problem so tried installing 0.77b1 and upgrading but still same problem.

Operating system : Windows XP sp2
Gfx card : ATI x1950PRO
CPU : 3.5ghz athlon socket 939 single core venice
RAM : 2GB DDR

Took pics of crashes, this is what happens when I join a battle.
