New client, million errors on startup, then crash.

New client, million errors on startup, then crash.

First off it loads up the lobby after a while waiting for 'initializing unitsync.dll, i get some strange error which i cant even see what it says because its see through. Then loads everything up and the lobby appears and i get 'Acces Violation at address 00403FAC in module 'TASClient.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFD5' Error Message. Then i get another error message saying, the operation is complete i think and this error report

About 10-20 seconds later i get 'this is not responding' etcetc

Strange thing is i was just on the new lobby a minute ago and its now decided to be a pain in the ass all of a sudden.

Also the Spring Downloader insists on downloading maps and mods i already have, i actually cant make it go away aswell, i click exit and it comes back for more, there is probably an option to turn it off somewhere ive just not found it yet :lol:

Other than that new lobby seems fine for me (except lua issues in BA so i heard.)

And the updater surprisingly, installed everything without me even needing to do anything for once, (the old updates didnt work as it always seemed to miss a vital part of the download.)

For me it was the oposite, the auto-downloaded file is asking to be installed as if I had no anterior version of spring, and then I try to install it in this manner several errors aparear. Should I download from the website? Will it overlap the old one if installed, what would be waste of space, or it will substitute it? (I know I can test the "download from the website" myself but I just tried to install the new version and have to go to bed now)

Aparently the problem was caused by trying to install it on the same folder than the anterior version :)
