SpringRTS crashes after a few minutes (Linux, Wine one

Post by GU6Z » 17 Feb 2019, 11:05

SpringRTS crashes after a few minutes of gameplay, such that I'm not able to complete a game.
Infolog suggest it could be a drive issue.

Have anyone encountered similar issues, and can suggest a workaround ?

Should I log a bug against SpringRTS or Linux Intel drivers ?

I tried various things including:
* Upgrading from mesa 13.3.2 to 13.3.3 with similar results.
* Add -safemode to the command line
* Add "ForceDisableShaders = 1" and "Shadows = 0" to ~/.config/spring/springsettings.cfg
* Running multiple engine versions, both Linux version, and Windows version through Wine
* Running multiple games

[f=0018491] [CrashHandler] Error: Halted Stacktrace for Spring 104.0 using libunwind:
[f=0018491] [CrashHandler] Error: This stack trace indicates a problem with your graphic card driver. Please try upgrading or downgrading it. Specifically recommended is the latest driver, and one that is as old as your graphic card. Also try lower graphic details and disabling Lua widgets in spring-settings.
