So, this is ok but when i post a link to some interesting and intelligently written article but forget to add some sort of commentary its spam?

Yup, moderators eventually realised that preventing AF from spamming was an unachievable task so gave up trying to stop him. They don't want two AFs though so they prevent any newcomers from spamming.zwzsg wrote:So the more you spam, the more you can spam more?

its not only the mass.. its the quality of the crap.. if you hurt the mods brains long enough, the result is that just reading your name triggers the crapflag, and your whole post is ignored.. unless it triggers a flamewar.

By giving the people with the highest post counts laxer spamming regulations, we allow them to prosper; the posting rights will then "trickle down" the hierarchy of forum users, enriching the entire community! It's like magic, but better!
