Yeah I enjoyed his posts up until now. But who knows what evil thing he might do next. Maybe he will post a lemonparty picture or blow up the intertubes, he has shown himself capable of anything.

If you write spoilers before i wont read it...
How can anyone complain if he read the spoilers on his own free will knowing they were spoilers?

Finished reading the book yesterday....gonna start the second!!!
Im still wondering what Expects Jon in the future...IMO he is the most interesting...Him Tyrion and Arya...
In the series Jon is kinda lame IMO and of course, way too old.

I have only one question....Why the f*ck did they make Renly gay?lol...
Unless there is mention of it further in the following books, about him and the flower knight(doubt it very much), than this was entirely invented by the screenplay writers...

I guess they thought its good to have some gay characters to easier grab some of the gay viewers.

bit of a tangent... this is pretty much the best role a midget can get in acting, right? seems like a short stature like that limits you mostly to comedy and bit parts... and that guy who played mini-me in austin powers seems to have the badass midget role sewn up pretty tightly

that been said, i feel he's played the part extremely well, in terms of midget awesomeness is second only to weng weng http://youtu.be/oPlfzFZGl0o

weng weng, weng weng, two foot nine... kick you in the nutsack from behind

The books are better, we get the point already

thing is, I would finish the books in two days flat and then the fun is over. I'd much rather go slowly through the series, enjoying it one ep at a time... then go back and read the books.

I just read the book's intro, the dialog in the show isn't very true to the book so far. I felt the writing style wasn't good, compared to say, Wheel of Time. Although I guess any fantasy work is always going to be more escapism than fine literature.

Well LOTR was written very well.
I found the writing in Game of thrones adequate but not more than that.

I think overall what matters is the plot and subtext.
I guess in a well written book its hard to separate between the enjoyment of the writing and of the plot itself but I have yet to find a book that I enjoyed cause it was so well written despite not liking the plot very much...

I disagree. I thought the writing in Wheel of Time was quite bad, but I read the books because I wanted to see what happened next in the plot. I will read parts from A Song of Ice and Fire just for his writing style, although this gets better as the series goes on.

The way Martin uses Point-of-views is really really good especially, and there is a lot of subtle foreshadowing and hints to past events that you won't notice your first time through.

Tyrion n├║mero uno!

Btw, for me, a book is well written if I enjoy it. There are no other criteria. :P
