dunno. I own it and have it installed but haven't played it yet. maybe hit me up on mumble and try to convince me to play sometime (I might be more willing if you have other people willing to play too)

Well what do you have?only civ?civ with expansions?cause there are 2 expansions as far as i know,don't know if they have any impact on multiplayer though.

Apparently if you (wink wink) Civ 4 plus warlords plus Beyond the sword and update to version 3.19 you can play free online.

Never played the others myself but I hear this is one where they have actually improved most aspects of gameplay.
Would be awesome to get a 4+ folk playing. AI can replace people if they aren't around to continue it later. Its like extreme teching from clubs to nukes while always having something that could be micro'd, though the automation works great too.

Isnt Civ way too time-taking to play multiplayer? Or would it be something like 1 turn per day style?
