Chemistry Books
Im looking for a list of the most renowned books written about chemistry. Ideally they would have sections on: acids and bases, redox, periodicity and orbitals. I also would like a shorter/easier read. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Chemistry Books
Get an used college book. After a new year version tons of college books become obsolete by some course standards and are cheap awesome source of information.

Re: Chemistry Books
Which level of complexity are you looking for?
The chemistry book by Charles E. Mortimer is an excellent start and is a good beginner's book for university while not being written in a complex way but rather easy to understand - I think it even would be suitable for a use in school...

Re: Chemistry Books
Well I've just ordered the book Chemistry┬│ from amazon which is apparently the best book currently for A-level-undergraduate students. It's been described as a "tome" rather than a "book" :D

Funny that you ask, I may be willing to ship you my old (2 years) Chem textbook if you pay for shipping.
