it is not about drugs in general, it is about cocaine.
they use "tricks" to "distract" from that fact, like not calling it by that name, describe its effect from a different direction then usually, making it a pill instead of powder, ...
in the movie, the effect is more extreme then with cocaine, due to dramaturgy reasons.
but.. it is the drug of the rulers, the successful ones (in the materialistic way), economists/bankers, politicians. it makes you more focused, takes away your fear, and everything just goes along very easily.
can not say more without spoiling.

:D
be warned though; the movie is interesting in a similar way as the drug itsself is empowering (in the materialistic way). just as far away as cocaine takes you from getting a deeper understanding of anything, the movie is far from being deep also. i am pretty sure that is intended and extra effort has gone into that too. just an other proof that it is this drug. ;-)

How else would I be able to judge? O_o

I've seen:

Repulsion
Rosemary's Baby
Chinatown
The Ninth Gate
Pianist
Ghost Writer

Chinatown was the best one imo.

taste differs -thats why the world settled on the Picasso-Taste-Standard, and in the distance from it, in which bad taste is measured! ;)

One PicaPlus is as good as it gets.
